What would it be like if you really got what you were told you’d get online? More over if someone who was interested in a job, or to do a task for you that they say they’re going to do, yet either because of logistics or some reason, decided not to participate? I can understand some things, like two of the super babes from TowBabes who said they were up on flying out here from their southern area states to do a shoot for HazzardAyre, not being able to or something, but why not just call or for that matter email they are no longer interested? Okay maybe a disappointed, but at least your not just sitting waiting for a response so you can make the airfare arrangements etc to complete something. But this is not limited to just long distance sweethearts for a tow shoot. Nope, lets look at such sites as Craigslist. I have put up things there and got good results, so in the interest , more on an experimental exploration, I put up a personal ad. Know what? I got a few responses, but I think once they figured out that this old Marine, might be a bit more law abiding rather than something else, no response. That situation is something we’ll explore on another entry, but why can’t we just be honest online and in life? Think its just the Internet? Think again. Last night on three shows on the Disney Channel, proclaimed that it was okay to lie. These are Yankee traits and not that of our confederate brethren and sisters. But what can you do?
I just once would like to see truth and honesty. Think its just online and TV? Again here’s the example and something I wish could be prosecutable. Back in December when the idea of taking HazzardAyre out of Idaho, for the concept of a better pipeline with Comcast amongst others came about. I go searching online with KSL.com . See a bunch of places there offered by PPC Realty, of Ogden. Call this guy Nate. He says he’s got lots of places in our price range. I asked numerous times , you do realize this is for an aviation/bikers/truckers group, to operate a radio station from? He says no problem. So we make arrangements. I look for housing which turned out to be false, but thought if push came to shove at least we could install the radio station and get that rolling.
So I finally get here, after giving up nearly $10k, in both moving costs and a steady paycheck, because NATE says no problem, I got lots of places. We go see one place, and I never hear from the guy again. I’m thinking of reporting the entire firm to the Utah Board of Realty, but aside from that, why didn’t the guy just say , I don’t think we have anything that will withstand a radio station and 24 7 access? I could have looked to Boise, or to Salt Lake City. But I trusted this guy. Should he and PPC put up some money saying sorry, here’s something for the loss? I say yes, but that will not happen. Maybe PPC should ought to not promise what they can’t deliver, more over quit doing the bait and switch.
Outside of us and HazzardAyre, if its online, its most like bullstuff.
