The beauty is in the eye, but reality is in distance

Perhaps the reason HazzardAyre is not getting any traction, might be few even know its there.

That is part of the reason we did the female skin (model) audition at the first of May. Haven’t heard from TMG or Vickie since so either we were not important enough or too racy for TMG to get involved with. Situation being, that if its my money they need, they need to reach out to me, I’m not going to beg.

That being what it is, perhaps there’s a new way to get the skin and ride attention HazzardAyre needs to get people to fyre up their PC’s and IPods etc to tune in. There just is not any knowledge we’re there.

So what to do? Hit a few mainstream broadcasters via TV, and newspaper, get some video, a feature and some print ink, get people going to HazzardAyre to watch, listen and groove to the moves to southern fried radio online, via HazzardAyre.

Granted there’s a bunch of polish we need to do to the site, that goes back to the T&A excursion that we took via Talent Management Group. A bit of hot skin by a hotter ride, in southern kountry attire will get the Utahrd public tuning in. Utah’ns are the kind of people that can’t find much of anything on their own. Its not that they’re stupid, but since 80% are of an LDS background, they are taught to follow a seer as such one has to take most Utah’ns by the hand and lead them somewhere or some place to expand their usual routines. They get snagged on one radio station or TV station and then just go there, despite the other things out there. An example, is our friends at Park City Television in Park City Utah.

Back in 2005 when PCTV was just getting started, after being frustrated by the usual crap of Comcast cable’s line up, I drove up there to PCTV. Met with the CEO, and was even asked to do weather casts there. But overall, our sister company in both Evanston Wyoming and Heber Utah RoadWolf Truck & Towing, got a boost. Suddenly instead of 20 to 40 calls a month, we were getting 70 to 90 calls a month. Can that happen on our tow side again perhaps, but only when Cooter’s A1 rejoins RoadWolf. But why can’t a test of the old adage of lightning striking twice? Put up ads on PCTV for HazzardAyre? Of course there is another station in Utah that’s a fledgling station based in St George. KCSG which runs on Comcast channel 116, METV, old family based shows, that are true classics. Put an ad there. Of course start to reach out to a few of the more popular TV stations. But KCSG as well as PCTV were not known much but now are hits. They did not give up, and neither should we.

Instead of throwing in the towel just because the going is a bit rough, lets be the Marines we are and punch the thing in the throat, and push on through.

Now air times for shows are going to be tough, plus getting on airs that’ll intern for a while so we can get our shoes on here, but its time to get that traction.

What I have noticed about Utah though is about like what we have in Idaho. There is the state of Ada as in Ada County where Boise is located, and then there is the state of Idaho, very few times does the two meet. Here in Utah there is the state of Metro Utah from Provo to Ogden, then there is the State of Utah. And I’m seeing few times where the two meet. An example? Along the Wasatch front its Comcast, as the main cable/internet/cc-phone company. However over in Kamas Utah is AllWest. Prices are very competitive with Comcast, and completely fiber optic. Yet has not scaled over to the state of Metro-Utah. However I’m very sure if they did, Comcast would have to scramble to compete. Dig this I checked their rates against what we’re getting from Comcast same speeds, Dig this $199.00 a month. Can you say why can’t that work for us? We’ll see. But rather than pack up and go we stay, pay what we do for Comcast, build the Internet Southern Fried radio station, that we intended to do then do some sniffing around to see what can be had in both Evanston as well as say Coalville.

As far as food. I had thought that by moving here to Ogden at least there would be more shaking after dark , especially on weekends. As I rolled up to WalMart last Saturday night into Sunday morning. I found that the town was deader than even Twin Falls Idaho, a city in Magic Valley Idaho half the population, that is busier, the bars are open pouring brew and whiskey, and social opportunities that Ogden just does not have. Even with the house I rented there from Charlie compared to the one I have here, there was more going on , on my corner at Washington and Addison, than there is on Washington blvd in Ogden. More over no earwigs. Even though we had dogs next door.

But getting back to food, except for Sunday morning at 6:00AM for a few hours, the old Depot Grill, still is serving food even Joe Lunchbucket can afford, for a real 24/7. Unlike Ogden or Riverdale Utah.

Which brings in the Utah cousin of the Reaper, ClubMajor. ClubMajor will be that eating place that is open 24/7/365 that will serve traditional cuisine but also offer real southern grub as well. Of course beer and wine, will be served and a dance floor that will rival any in Metro-Utah.

In closing, I might be grounded, and our toew service may not go in Utah, but there are options, HazzardAyre, and ClubMajor. And possibly HazzardAyreTV, that in my next entry
