I have never heard of a utility especially one like Comcast or even Cable-One that would include your deposit on your first bill. The idea behind a deposit for those with less than pristine credit is so that, the utility can cover their butt in case you bug out and can’t pay.
Yet my roomy was somehow able to convince Comcast to install cable TV here at the Wolf’s Lair. At least that’s what I’m getting.
I’m not saying my roomy is not telling the truth, or if Comcast is just playing with him, but supposedly Comcast was to install on a Sunday. Well that didn’t happen, so he called them all day yesterday. According to my roomy, there was to be an install today between 9:00AM to 11:00AM, still nothing. So he called again, Comcast says, they’ll be here between 11:00AM to Noon. Still nothing. My thought, Comcast will not show up until Jeff and I go to the office in Layton, lay down the deposit. Which is only 6 days away. Now my thoughts on much of TV any way is I really don’t care about TV. There is little if anything any more to watch on either broadcast or pay TV like cable or satellite. You either get a bunch of channels that have no real value, or junk channels getting you to buy worthless products and jewelry, or hitting you with infomercials. Beyond that outside of The Dukes, which CMT pulled, and SOA during the winter there is nothing I need to watch that’s worth $80.00 a month.
If I want to get entertained, I tweak on Hulu, watch my fave shows , or the networks that usually run the same episodes only a day or two after their normal air dates. Outside of my internet connection its free. So why would I give a rats ass about cable TV? As far as I’m concerned, no matter the cable service all I care about is my business internet which is always professionally handled by our sweet heart Laura. Past that on the TV side of Comcast their customer service department really needs a overhaul. Jeff my roomy, needs to call em up and say thanks but no thanks. Or at least tell Comcast to say yes or no, it’s a crap or get off the commode thing.
See ya’ll on air this afternoon at 15:00 hours.
Maybe our sweet Laura, can get the attention of the residential Cable TV department, and snoop out why they are just playing with my roomy Jeff Painter on this install.
