Cooters A1 Toewing: Crap or get off the pot

I have been seeing this kind of thing for over a month>I say your right, but I told ya’ll this would happen.

Ya’ll see in the world of Television, one thing sounds louder than anything else , money. Just like old Boss Hogg, Greed is king. If you don’t support things from an advertisers point of view, the network will not keep running a show. Just like DOH, that was running at all the wrong times, but had , Ben did up some ad’s for his theme park, had we been able to get our ads up in time and some of the rest of ya’ll, the Dukes would still be on TV. Sponsors are supporting that trashy TV show that DOH ushered in. Thus it remains and DOH takes a powder.

Now some might think ah what can I do, I just live in Podunk USA, all I can do is sign the floating petition. That’s good, but get those big car dealers, the Wal-Mart in your town and a few others to not advertise on any CBS station, that is part of by the way Viacom. If enough CBS Affiliates, bark at corporate HQ that by CMT not running the Dukes local advertisers are boycotting their stations and pulling ads. Guess what HQ sits up and say , woea buddy roe, soon you’ll see CMT re-running the Dukes. Now too, if enough consumers pulled the plug on their satellite and cable hook-ups and told their providers like Cable-One, Comcast, TWC, etc that they are disconnecting because CMT wont run DOH, watch those providers bark at Viacom, and watch CMT put the Dukes back on.

Last but not least, and I have howled about this I don’t know how many times, if more of you who really cared about this issue of keeping DOH on TV, you’d stop hammering away on your keyboards, dig in your back pocket, and send the Knytes some dollars so we can complete HazzardAyre TV, where when done, we can then buy DOH from Viacom, and put it on, albeit only streaming at first, but at least we’d own DOH, and it’d be where ya’ll could tune in EVERYDAY. We as a club are situated as such to buy the show, copyrights the whole shebang, from Viacom/CMT, and erect a true Hazzard County fan TV station. We are situated to buy the show and run it on marathons on the weekends and holidays. But what do you do? You sit around, ignore my howls and when the CMT/Viacom Network pulls the plug ya’ll get pissed off.

Until you react they’ll bowling over ya’ll, and all your going to do is sign CG petitions.
